Great Great Great Great Grandfather William WILSON was born in 1764 in Delaware and died in Washington County, Pa. on November 12, 1837, he was 73.
About 1780 at age 16, William married Sarah Clark. She was born about 1768 in Delaware. Sarah died the year they wed. (I have questions about the dates and ages of this marriage. --LEM)
On February 4, 1790 when William was 26, he married his second wife, Eleanor Scothorn, GGGG Grandmother, daughter of Nathan Scothorn II and Hannah Twiggs, in Newcastle (sic) County, De. She was born 1764 in Newark, Christiana Head, New Castle, De. Eleanor died in Washington County, Pa. on November 22, 1819, she was 55.
They had the following children:
Hannah (1790-1827)
Mary, a GGGG Aunt, was born in 1792 in Newcastle (sic) County, De. Mary died in 1850, she was 58. In 1808 when Mary was 16, she married Thomas Jones. Born in 1782, Thomas died in Washington County, Pa. on April 2, 1850, age 68.
