Isaac Meredith, a first cousin fifth removed, was born in 1802. Isaac died in West Whiteland Township, Pa. on Feb 27, 1883, when he was 81. He was buried on March 4, 1883 in Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, Grove, Pa. His occupation was as a plasterer and then a farmer.
Died - Isaac Meredith, whose death at an advanced age occurred on Wednesday at his home in west Whiteland township, was one of the most highly respected members of the community in which he resided. His departure is a real loss to society, although he had passed the time of life when one's usefulness is most apparent. Isaac married Mary Hoopes, born in 1808. Mary died on Halloween 1885 at age 77 and was buried in the Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, Grove, Pa.
