William Ball IV, my sixth-Great Grandfather was born about 1615 in Barkham Manor, Barkham, Berkshire, England and died in Millenkick, Lancaster, Va. in November 1680, he was 65. He was buried on November 8, 1680 in St. Mary's White Chapel, Lancaster, Va. He had been Christened in Millenkick, Lancaster, Va.
On July 2, 1638, when William was 23, he married Hannah Atherold, my sixth-Great Grandmother, daughter of Thomas Atherold (August 16, 1590-May 6, 1658) and Mary Harvey (1595-1665), in London, Middlesex Co., England. Hannah was born in 1619 in London, Middlesex Co., England and died in Millenkick, Lancaster, Va. in 1695, she was 76. She was buried in Millenkick, Va.
They had the following children:
Richard, born in 1639 in Millenkick, Lancaster, Va. and died in Middletown Township, Chester Co., Pa. in 1640, he was 1.
William V (1641-1694)
Edward, born in 1642 in England. Edward died in England in 1724, he was 82.
Richard, born in 1646 in Barkham Manor, Barkham, Berkshire, England. Richard died in Richmond, Virginia in 1677, he was 31.
Joseph (1649-1711)
Hannah, born on March 12, 1650 in Barkham Manor, Barkham, Berkshire, England. Hannah died in Virginia in 1694, she was 43.
