Joseph B. Townsley 1895

Joseph B. Townsley (1C2R) was born about 1895 in Coatesville, Pa. Joseph B. married Rachel Fuller, born in 1899 in Coatesville, Pa.

They had one child:

                        Elizabeth R. (2C1R), born in June 1914. Elizabeth R. died on December 1, 1914 at 320 Harmony Street, West Chester, Pa.,  accidentally smothered in her bed by the bed clothes over it.

Found Dead in Bed.  When the family of Joseph Townsley, 320 Harmony street, this borough, awoke this morning they found Elizabeth R., a six-month-old daughter, dead in bed.  The infant had accidentally smothered to death in the bed clothes being over it.  Daily Local News.  12/1/1914
